PRESENTATION
SOStierra2017, International Conference on Vernacular Earthen Architecture, Conservation and Sustainability, is organized in the framework of the SOStierra project: “Restoration and rehabilitation of traditional earthen architecture in the Iberian Peninsula. Guidelines and tools for a sustainable intervention” (Ref.: BIA2014-55924-R) (MEC/AEI/FEDER, UE).
The conference will take place on 14th, 15th and 16th September 2017, at the School of Architecture of the Universitat Politècnica de València. Associated to SOStierra2017 Conference, ResTAPIA 2017, 3rd Conference on Rammed Earth Conservation, and VerSus 2017, 3rd Conference on Lessons from Vernacular Heritage for Sustainable Architecture, will be organized.
In addition to the presentation of selected papers and posters, the SOStierra2017 program includes also keynote lectures delivered by international experts on the conference’s topics.

SOStierra2017, Congreso Internacional sobre Arquitectura Vernácula de Tierra, su Conservación y Sostenibilidad, se desarrollará en el marco del proyecto SOStierra: “La restauración y rehabilitación de arquitectura tradicional de tierra en la Península Ibérica. Líneas guía y herramientas para una intervención sostenible” (Ref.: BIA2014-55924-R) (MEC/AEI/FEDER, UE).
El congreso tendrá lugar los días 14, 15 y 16 de septiembre de 2017, en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de la Universitat Politècnica de València. Dentro del Congreso SOStierra2017 se incluyen ResTAPIA 2017, III Congreso de Restauración de Arquitectura de Tapia, y VerSus 2017, III Congreso sobre las Lecciones de la Arquitectura Vernácula para la sostenibilidad.
El programa de SOStierra2017, además de la presentación de las comunicaciones y posters seleccionados, incluye conferencias destacadas impartidas por conferenciantes invitados expertos a nivel internacional sobre los tema del congreso.
